You just cannot copy and paste images from word files to your desktop. To save all the images from word file to your computer follow these steps- 1. Open the word file and click on Menu. 2. Click on Save as and select Other Formats. If you don't find "Other Formats" then save as any format. 3. Once you get the option to select the location click on "Save as Type" and Select "Web Page" and save. Now you will get the word file as a webpage and a folder containing all the images. Your original Word file remains the same.
